The Fair Future Foundation (“FFF”) respects your confidentiality and private life. This Confidentiality Policy explains (i) which information is collected when you access and use the Internet pages accessible at https://www.fairfuturefoundation.org (the “Platform”), (ii) how we use the information collected, and (iii) the level of security we provide to protect this information.
By accessing and using the Platform, you accept this Confidentiality Policy. The policy may be modified at any time to take into account new commercial or technological practices or legislative modifications.
We collect data in connection with your access to and use of the Platform. In particular, we may collect personal data such as your name, sex, date of birth, address, payment information, e-mail address, telephone number, language preference, profession and any other information that may be used to identify or contact you in connection with your access to and use of the Platform (“Personal Data”).
Use of collected data
Data that have been collected and transmitted are used for the purposes mentioned at the time of collection, which include performing activities and furthering our humanitarian goals. In particular, we use these data to communicate targeted information concerning our activities, financial support (including support for our projects and actions) and subscriptions to our electronic newsletter.
The Platform may contain links or references to third-party websites, including websites for local delegations that are managed and supervised by these local delegations. This Confidentiality Policy does not apply to these third-party websites or to the practices of other companies or individuals that Fair Future Foundation does not control. Subject to legal limits, Fair Future Foundation cannot be held liable for the confidentiality practices of third-party websites.
Communication to third parties
We do not communicate your Personal Data to third parties, except to our partners and/or subcontractors when this is necessary to perform the goals for which data were collected. For example, when you make a donation for our financial support, your payment information is only transmitted to the company that is subcontracted to manage and cash your donation.
Your personal data are processed in Switzerland but may also be stored and used in other countries. It should be noted that these locations may include countries that do not guarantee the same standard of personal data protection as Switzerland. By submitting this data to us, you accept this transfer.

Applicable law and place of jurisdiction
This Confidentiality Policy is subject to Swiss substantive law, except its conflict-of-law rules.
Any complaint, claim or dispute must be filed with the competent courts for FFF’s head offices, subject to any appeal filed with the Swiss Federal Supreme Court.

Who else can access your Personal Data
We do not share your Personal Data with strangers. Personal Data about you is in some cases provided to our trusted partners in order to either make providing the service to you possible or to enhance your customer experience. We don’t share your data.
We only work with Processing partners who are able to ensure adequate level of protection to your Personal Data. We disclose your Personal Data to third parties or public officials when we are legally obliged to do so. We might disclose your Personal Data to third parties if you have consented to it or if there are other legal grounds for it.
How we secure your data
We do our best to keep your Personal Data safe. We use safe protocols for communication and transferring data (such as HTTPS). We use anonymising and pseudonymising where suitable. We monitor our systems for possible vulnerabilities and attacks.
Even though we try our best we can not guarantee the security of information. However, we promise to notify suitable authorities of data breaches. We will also notify you if there is a threat to your rights or interests. We will do everything we reasonably can to prevent security breaches and to assist authorities should any breaches occur.
If you have an account with us, note that you have to keep your username and password secret.
We do not intend to collect or knowingly collect information from children. We do not target children with our services.
